The popup that appears after login onto LJ.com is quite annoying, especially when trying to access via mobile web.

A Glimpse

Got a glimpse of parenthood these past few days, and yea, no thank you.

Charlie went in to become an IT on Wed aka neutered. Later that evening he sported the "cone of shame." Poor kitty. And was confined to the bathroom for the period of recovery.

Night came, he became restless. Let him free roam of the bedroom, and still was restless. "Come on, Charlie, I've to be up in a few hours," I pleaded. Yes, I gave in, held the furball until it calmed down, purring and asleep.

Locks

  • Jan. 31st, 2010 at 9:10 AM
I somehow managed to lock SC's keys in the car, as I was going about taking the car to the airport. Smart, I know.

I retrieved the car keys from the house, opened the garage and placed the stuff needed in the passenger seat of SC's car, then shut the door and went about moving my car off the driveway. Everything settled, and ready to get into SC's car, only to find out, the doors were locked. Didn't know SC's car had a re-locking system.

It worked out in the end. My 2-door was able to haul all of SC's luggage, and there's a spare car key.

What is the absolute worst song ever written? For what amount of money would you consider listening to it over and over again for 24 hours?

Pregnant by R Kelly. Heard it on the local rock/alt morning radio show one day. The DJs were making fun of it. Wow, I wanted to cut my ears off like Van Gogh. Worst singer ever. It baffles the mind that he's still famous and putting out CDs. No amount of money is worth listening to that tripe.

One More Week

  • Jan. 22nd, 2010 at 6:38 AM

Yep, one more week before I return to the state of sanity. Well as much as one can be...

Why can't I tell SC that I miss SC? Instead, I turn the table around and asks if SC misses me in a joking manner when the occassion arises. And SC always agrees that SC misses me.

Hmm, SC knows how i feel without me having to tell SC right? Right. There, question asked and answered. Damn I'm good. :-)

What's the most unusual food you have ever eaten? Have you ever consumed anything without knowing precisely what it was and gotten sick when you found out?

Tried pig ears, beef tripe, etc. But I knew what I was eating and was willing to give it a go. Had shark long ago, didn't know what it was until it was much later, but no didn't get sick. And it truly tasted like chicken.

Finally tried and liked Fugu while I as in Japan; yes, was really glad that it was prepared correctly.

What is the worst movie you've ever seen? Did you sit through it or walk out? What made it so dreadful?

Dungeons & Dragons, was dragged there by J-Man. He was a fan of the game. The movie was simply awful. And yes, we walked out of the movie.

Had the first conversation with SC last night since SC left. I know. I know. How did I dare to wait this long to call...

None the less, the conversation went well, and I must go back with SC the next time.
