- Been sick as a dog for about a week or so (not the piggy flu); feel much better now, thanks.
- SC's parents left and can now breathe a bit easier.
- Don't think I got the job that I interviewed for at the beginning of Oct, although I have yet to heard back with a yay or nay. A decision was suppose to be made by Oct 30, per the HR lady. Feeling a bit crestfallen, but que sera sera and all that.

Played it through this past weekend, and finished it up today due to a sinus infection...

Great story line.
Beautiful cut scenes.
Easy to grasp controls.
Witty dialogue.
Can't type enough good things about this game.

Hope there will be an Uncharted 3.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. That being typed, the dinner was awkward in parts, especially when SC's mom went on a mini-rant about how SC is still single, etc and how majority of SC's cousins, classmates, etc are married with children.

Then my mother mentioned something regarding how my sister and I should marry after our 30s. Huh? Exactly.

Those were the highlights, rest were filled with small talk and casual conservations.

The mothers are meeting. That's right you've read it correctly.
SC's mother has invited my mother (who is here for a very short 4 day visit) to dinner this evening.

This should be very interesting.

SC's parents are here for a visit, couple of weeks from what I understand. Shall make myself scarce. If I haven't mentioned it before, SC's mother scares me.

The whole job hunting process is very much like a new relationship...

Job Hunting:
1. You post your resume on job sites.
2. You try to work your "network."
3. You go on some awful interviews with some agency that you responded to and yet the job you were interested in suddenly have been filled. (Yes get used to the run-on sentences)
4. You finally come across one that shows real promise... But you are unsure what's the appropriate wait time before a follow up could be made.

New Relationship:
1. You get setup by friends, family, co- workers, etc.
2. You go one some dreadful dates where you've a bail out plan.
3. You finally found someone that you are excited about and are interested in seeing again, but you over analyze about the right amount of days to wait before phoning that person up. After all you don't want to seem desperate, and at the same time you don't want them to think that you are aloof.

Had the interview today... Think I did okay, not as confident as the phone interview, but who knows. Guess I'm just over analyzing, or trying not to. They didn't exactly tell me when I'd hear back, they just said that I'd hear back from the HR person. Is that good? Bad? Or simply just an FYI, etc. Argh.
